You can configure Opera to use a proxy server to attach to the net. A proxy acts as an intermediary between your laptop and therefore the net. It intercepts all requests to the net to examine if it will fulfill the request using its cache. Proxies are used to enhance performance, filter requests, and conceal your laptop from the net to enhance security.

How to configure proxy server on Opera

Start Opera.

Click Preferences from the Tools menu.

Select the Advanced ยป Network tab.

Click the Proxy servers button.

Select ‘HTTP‘, and enter the proxy server configuration details.
